Controlling a GoPro with Your Voice
I have been a GoPro fan since day 1. I have owned seven of their cameras to date and with each upgrade to their hardware and software I get more and more excited. This is definitely the case with the Hero 6 Black Edition (http://amzn.to/2xMwS5e). This camera has improved the user experience in several ways. A big one for me is navigating through settings and modes. On previous models this was a cumbersome process of button pressing or tapping on a screen several times to get from Point A to Point B.
Enter Hero 6 and the Voice Control feature. [This feature was actually introduced on the Hero 5, but the last GoPro I bought was a Hero 4 so this is new to me] This feature allows you to not only capture photos and videos using your voice. It also lets you navigate through different modes and even turn the camera on and off. Below is my walkthrough video for setting up and using this feature.
But before we get started, just a quick note: I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. I appreciate when you use these links to check out products and I hope that you can see in my writing that I am objective with my reviews. I only write about products I have used and would generally recommend. I also try to point out every shortcoming I have experienced in a product so you know what to expect before you buy. Ok, let's get to it:
If you have any questions about your GoPro (any model) - just let me know and I'd be happy to help out!
